Senior Application Support Engineer Contract Dublin 12-24 Months.
My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join their group on a 12-24 month contract
Candidates will Co-ordinate all support request activities for in scope applications; you will ensure that IT applications are available and performing appropriately. You will liaise with internal and external providers on system problems, system enhancements and product releases. You will prioritise and track numerous issues of varying severity and managing their resolution. Candidates will liaise with stakeholders across the department to ensure optimal resolution of incidents and problems. You will ensure services are brought back to normal operation ASAP by managing the resolution and/or escalation of issues or incidents.
You will have 5+ years of commercial experience supporting and administering enterprise applications; You will have an ability to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in a timely manner. You will have ability to guide, persuade and influence others through developed skills of communication and diplomacy. Candidates will have SQL Experience this is essential (ideally in Oracle also). You will have Strong customer focus, and incident management skills with proven ability to triage, prioritise, and manage IT incidents and see projects through to successful completion.
