Oracle Financials Functional Consultant - GL, FA, AP
This is a great opportunity with a prestigious, global financial institution! This organisation are seeking a highly capable Oracle Financials Functional Consultant with a strong knowledge of the AP, GL and FA modules (and ideally EBtax).
You must have a good awareness or business knowledge of some banking/financial services business areas where AP/GL/FA modules are applied to, and the kinds of users you are likely to encounter here. You must have strong experience of the aforementioned modules in a functional/implementations/support capacity ideally gained within a financial services institution (although all backgrounds will be considered if you have the necessary technical and interpersonal skills).
A minimum of 5 years' experience in this arena would be ideal.
Overall, the role will involve:
- Maintaining, implementing and analysing the GL, AP and FA based financial systems
- Oracle E-business Financial Module(s) implementation/support with primary focus on General Ledger and Fixed Assets (v12)
- Hands on design and configuration duties
- Support all Oracle related interfaces
- Provide training to business users
To be considered for this role you will need the following:
- A strong knowledge of the GL and FA modules (plus ideally EBtax) to v12
- A good understanding of SQL
- Previous full life cycle implementation of Oracle Financials (GL, FA & AP)
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A banking/financial services background is preferred but no essential IF you have ALL the attributes listed above
