Description
Senior Sybase IQ/ASE Datawarehouse Developer sought for a critical Risk project for a major Amsterdam-based Financial Services organisation.
This hire will operate as a Senior SME covering Sybase IQ running on top of Sybase ASE, generating a huge amount of Real Time Credit Risk Calculations as part of a wider suite of applications written in Java, JavaScript and Perl.
Requirements
- Expertise in designing and developing large-scale multi-terabyte Sybase Datawarehouses - ideally built using both IQ and ASE.
- Sybase DBA experience also highly desirable.
- Solid Linux/UNIX with good Shell Scripting and/or Perl.
- Any experience of OOAD - ideally Java or C++ extremely highly desirable.
- Relevant business knowledge ideally covering Risk Analytics in the Banking sector.
- Experience working in a Agile/Scrum/DevOps setup preferred.
