WSO2 Engineer/Web-Service Engineer - Web Services Platform, WSO2, API Management, Oracle, SQLMy Higher Educational client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on and technically astute WSO2 Engineer/Web-Service Engineer with strong experience in building a production web-services platform based on WSO2 components.
The WSO2 Engineer/Web-Service Engineer is responsible for capturing all necessary requirements for the Web-services platform as well as defining the business processes for the API-Management. The requirements and processes will be used to setup and configure API-marketplace.
Other duties will include:
. Provide WSO2 expertise to the Web Services Platform Service project team for the definition of business processes for the API-Management.
. Perform Technical Resource Leadership in following the Waterfall/Agile methodology for all implementation works.
. Liaison with other technical teams, ie networks, storage, solution architects
. Project technical documentation, ie HLD, Information Risk Assessment, Standard Operating Procedures
. Produce documentation relevant to the assignment. .
Must have skills
. Strong experience building a production web-services platform based on WS02 components.
. Experience integrating the WS02 platform with single-sign-on and identity management solutions using the WS02 Identity Manager, proficient understanding of relevant protocols such as OAUTH2 and SAML.
. Strong design skills in SQL and Oracle
. Proficient knowledge in API life cycle using the WS02 toolset: definition, prototyping and long-term maintenance of services.
. Proficient knowledge of standards used for defining and documenting web-service APIs such as WSDL, Swagger, Slate etc
. Experience building and maintaining an API marketplace including engagement and communications with senior stakeholders in IT.
. Experience developing web-services for Legacy applications using WSO2 Data Services Server using SQL statements against MS-SQL and Oracle databases
Again, my client is seeking a WSO2 Engineer/Web-Service Engineer with strong experience in building a production web-services platform based on WSO2 components. You must also have strong SQL and Oracle database design skills.
This is an initial 3 month contract based in Central London (EC1) and is paying a rate of GBP 300-GBP 350/day Limited company. This role has been deemed Outside IR35.
