One of my globally leading financials clients is urgently looking for a fluent Dutch speaking Senior Ops Engineer with good all-round OPS engineer experience along with broad knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse (DWH) systems and ETL within an Oracle environment. In addition you will have senior experience with Collibra, Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

Summary:

Together in a team of motivated colleagues, the OPS Engineer will be responsible for the monitoring, LCM, security, performance and many other aspects of an extensive Oracle suite. The ideal candidate is a keen learner and has extensive experience with the maintenance & administration of Oracle systems, especially Collibra, OEMM and ODI. As the team is responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of the suite, standby shifts are part of the job. The team works together in a BusDevOps manner and continuous improvement, initiative, customer focus and thinking outside the box are key competences. The team has a wide array of responsibilities and offers the candidate many opportunities for development and improvement.

Generic knowledge & Expertise

The Ops Engineer works in a BusDevOps squad which consists of Business, Dev Engineers and Ops Engineers with an end to end responsibility. The Ops engineer transports the application to a production environment and monitors the application on availability and correct functioning. Proactive and reactive actions are taken to assure continuity and compliance.

Service Implementation & Small enhancements:

* Decompose backlog items into user stories and tasks together with the team and other stakeholders.
* Write product documentation (like functional design, data model, technical design, system documentation, user manuals, work instructions).
* Design and develop software and/or configure software packages
* Develop and maintain test cases and (automated) test scripts.
* Develop roles for role based access to incorporate in the SOLL Matrix.
* Execute all required tests and fix bugs, performance issues and conflicts in builds in order to deliver updated and tested software (including interfaces, reports, configuration changes). Activities to create the software build and version management are included.
* Develop and test of deployment scripts.

All based on Scrum/Lean way of working, which means a.o.:

* participate in planning & estimation process,
* participate in sprint demo's, Stand-ups, retrospectives and product backlog refinement

Knowledge of Financial markets or the ambition to learn about Financial markets. Able to see relations between systems and understanding these relations.

Education: HBO (IT) or WO (IT)
