Opportunity for Web Developer
Our Client, a Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services for a Web Developer.
The services will include and not be limited to:
- As part of a team, assisting and executing a range of tasks under the direction of the Siebel Technical Lead;
- Designing and developing enterprise web applications
- Maintaining HTML and CSS to improve user experience and accessibility;
- Supporting deployment to production as part of the releases scheduled
- Providing code reviews and quality assurance; and
- Mentoring junior team members.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience developing with web technologies such as:
- CSS,
- JS,
- JQuery,
- HTML5;
- Experience with MVC frameworks, Modular JS design pattern and LESS or Sass;
- Understanding of Object Orientated programming;
- Demonstrated experience in producing online content that:
- is optimised for the web;
- complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG);
- complies with writing style guides;
- meets best practice industry standards for usability;
- Experience in preparing information for a range of audiences;
- Ability to apply plain English writing styles;
- Demonstrated experience in using a content management system (CMS) to publish content;
- Experience creating Web development standards;
- Experience in UX design;
- Experience with Siebel Open UI;
- Experience with mobile responsible implementation/s.
The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship and Baseline Vetting Security Clearance for this role.
