MS Project Server Analyst Sharepoint Office 365, Valencia, Spain
We seek a Project Server specialist with 5 or more years' application development experience to provide Project Server Architecture/Development Support services for our client in Valencia, Spain. Should have hands-on development experience, and a problem-solving mind. The services would focus on both partner projects and in-house product developments. Initial contract to 31/05/18, renewable. Laptop and Smartphone required. Some On-Call may be required.
TASKS
MS Project Server and Project Online: administer/SME
Develop, deploy and support of MS Project Server and/or SharePoint and/or Office 365
Develop Project Web Applications, workflows, Project dashboard/BI solutions within SharePoint and Project Server 2016/online environments.
Provide expert advice on complex systems analysis/design; identify new/changed interfaces or respond to user requests. Develop project plans.
Develop and implement Project Server management extensions and integrate with data sources. Implement the Project Server/SharePoint through systems analysis, development, programming, etc; Oversee development of document and database structures.
Extend the out-of-the-box functionality of SharePoint and Project Server.
Translate process diagrams and artefacts into SharePoint/Project Server Workflows, potentially leveraging Visio Service for workflow visualization.
Design and develop BI solutions using the MS BI stack, and deploy within SharePoint and Project Server environments
Develop, implement and monitor Project Server usability standards and guidelines.
Prepare and present technical/user documentation and training materials.
Train and support PMs in the use of Project Server according to Project Management Guidelines.
Keep abreast of developments in the field of PM/Project Server, evaluate new products/technologies; assess impact of introducing technological change and prepare reports.
Manage the knowledge related to Project Server and actively spreads it.

Functional Knowledge
Essential
Project management best practices (eg PRINCE2),
Application Architecture/Design/Development to implement project/product life cycle (full development life cycle)
Understand unstructured requirements, analyse, and translate into technical deliverables, reports
Managing and working with teams including virtual and remote teams
Desirable
Certification in Project Management Framework (PRINCE2/PMP)
Experience/Certification in Project Server/SharePoint Development/Implementation
Service management best practices such as ITIL
Experience
Essential
Five years or more of experience in application development and support
Experience in managing Project Server/SharePoint Implementation
Experience creating applications and add-ins for SharePoint/Project Server ;
Experience in SharePoint Workflows
Experience and expertise in analysing complex data sets to identify potential issues
Experience in producing technical documentation and proposals
Experience in mid/large project management
Desirable:
Experience in SQL Server, XML, SharePoint development, Excel reporting, Power BI, functional testing.
Excellent SQL skills, the ability to develop SQL queries and stored procedures to extract/analyze data from multiple sources
Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) techniques and processes
Experience building dashboards and reports; hands-on experience in working with the MS BI Stack
LANGUAGES
English: intermediate (level B2) is Mandatory
