Our client wants to build applications with a cloud native design in function of webscaling, flexible releases and integration with cloud eco-systems.
To take maximum advantage of cloud environments, they will be using container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), a microservices based design, API management,
Java frameworks like spring/springboot and cloud related databases (SQL and No-SQL). For a few pilot applications (K ching and Appyourservice), we are looking for senior Java engineers to build the necessary Back End services and technical capabilities step by step.
You will work together in a multi-functional team to automatize build-integration-deploy-test processes and build performant, qualitative applications.
In a first face we will focus on the foundation layer of the new platform. We will (re)search how to do it and which technologies to use.
We will make a design on how to build and maintain the different components of this layer before to build and deliver the new platform.
This is a unique opportunity to create the base of a platform that will reform KBC's application landscape.
You will be in touch with different domains and departments in the organization.
