Description
A Global Investment Bank is seeking an experienced EDM Developer to join their London office on a contract basis.
You will be joining a small, elite team of Developers and Analysts and will be delivering EDM solutions to support project work and BAU activities. This role will also include some support and possible development on the Middleware platform.
Key responsibilities:-
- Design, Development and testing of EDM solutions
- Adherence to defect tracking and change control processes
- Provision and maintenance of support documentation
Essential kills and experience
- Markit EDM
- Knowledge of Markit EDM best practices
- Experience of Markit EDM implementations covering any of the following data sets: Market, Instrument, Part, Reference, Corporate Actions and Historical Time-Series
Advantageous
- Bloomberg data connections
- A general understanding of the Financial markets as well as exposure to Middle Office IT functions.
- XML, XSLT, XSD experience
- Control - M
- Java/Middleware
