Description
My client is looking for an experienced PHP developer for existing features/maintenance, and also development for several new features on a global platform.
Project information:
- Maintenance and bugfixing on the current client platform, written in custom QIQ-framework (PHP and Zend based, OOP).
- Developing new functionality for the platform, which is a platform for the allocation of grants to promote the networking between European and non-European countries on all fields of science. This implies the digitalisation of the entire process to apply for grants, all the way up to the point of the grants being authorised, funded and payed out.
Technologies: PHP, MySQL, Smarty, PHPStorm
Skills required by PHP developer:
- At least 3 years of proficient working experience with PHP/LAMP.
- Experience working with some of following PHP framework/tools: Symfony, Composer, Doctrine.
- Experience working using Git and continuous integration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML.
- Strong SQL design and development skills, ideally in MySQL environment.
- Extensive experience with Object-Oriented design and programming.
- Knowledge of and experience applying design patterns and implementing industry best practices.
- Knowledge and experience with MVC application architecture/frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and Atlassian suite (JIRA, BitBucket, Bamboo) is a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in multi-cultural environment and strong team work capacities.
- Experience working in a Scientific Agency in European institutions environment is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks and work well independently and collaboratively.
- High standard of spoken and written English is a must
