Web Developer With Java/J2EE And OO JavaScript required for a project with a leading Bank based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Project scope:
The project will significantly improve the end to end process of patching a platform with focus on change management and the tools supporting them incl. development of an auxiliary tool: The patch orchestration tool (referred to as POT).
POT is a critical component because it will be the sole interface for all users from the business side and here they will be able to control their maintnance windows in accordance with the patch management guidelines and business requirements. Based on input from POT an automatic generation of change will be possible (integration with Remedy) and for some systems an automation of the actual patch deployment will be possible (integration with Satellite and Oracle Enterprise Manager). POT is already integrated with SCCM.
Web Developer Competency Requirements:
The business has put more focus on being compliant and the demand for new internal Web applications are fast increasing. Our team provides these applications.
The role as Web Developer requires deep knowledge of Java/J2EE and Object Oriented JavaScript-frameworks such as ExtJS or similar.
You will be working with Use Cases under a SCRUM framework and need to be willing to work in an agile environment.
Other important skills;
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Restful Webservices (JAX-RS) and Maven.
- Professional English skills
- Able to take ownership and work in a dynamic environment where demands change based on business needs across the organisation which can result in longer work hours at times
- Knowledge of creating Use Cases is an advantage as you will be supporting the business during the requirement phase.
We use Oracle RDBMS as Back End, and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL will be an advantage.
English is the only language required for this role.
