Senior Scala Developer - 24 month contract
My client, a leading Energy company based in Antwerp are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to strengthen and complement their outstanding team of developers. You'll be working with their state-of-the-art reactive software stack implementing new features and improvements in the Scala/Java codebase.
Your tasks & responsibilities
The successful candidate will be active in many parts of the code, with main focus on the development of mission critical Back End code of the patented solution.
You will have the opportunity to work on the latest big-data analysis and visualization tools, fine-tune our cloud deployment and monitoring tools, and continue to evolve to stay ahead of competition.
Improve DevOps by continuous improvement of their cloud deployment automation and monitoring
Explore new tools and frameworks to adopt in the clients technology toolbox
Your profile
Proven industry experience as a Scala developer, preferably with a track record of implementation in complex environments with high reliability and performance standards.
Due to the Nature of the work my client has asked that you have a Master's degree.
