CONTRACT UI/UX Developer required on an initial 6-month contract (high chance of an extension) in Letterkenny, Ireland.

Day Rate: 600 Euros/day

Skills and Experience:
Extensive Software Engineering experience in a development capacity preferably using HTML and Angular.
A good understanding of Back End development with Java technology is also beneficial.
Good understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design and Human Cognitive behaviour
Experience working in Test Driven Development environments and have strong experience with Unit Testing.
Have the mindset that Unit Test code is as important as application code.
Experience developing within an Agile team and ideally Continuous Integration environment.
Sound knowledge of and ability to apply standard software development principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Demonstrate an understanding of trade-offs and risks with programming choices.
Ability to coordinate multiple technical streams of work to produce a complete solution.
Demonstrate a combination of business aptitude, analytical skills, strategic/creative thinking and excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to manage several tasks at once and work efficiently and effectively as an individual as well as part of a team.
Key responsibilities:
Writes and delivers code for features, debugs existing code and modules and provides technical guidance to less experienced Developers.
Follows best practice coding guidelines and ensures they are followed by less experienced Developers.
Develops and validates estimates for technical work that will be undertaken.
Participates in Agile scrum meetings as well as analysis of requirements for designing new system features.
Builds and maintains a relationship with the internal customers to define, analyse and elaborate requirements
