Description
A Test Automation Engineer is required by our client in Belgium. Our client is a world leading business in Electronics.
This is a 6-month contract, which will extend to one year or further.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a multidisciplinary agile team of SW developers that are responsible for creating digital end-2-end solutions.
- Developing software in C/C++ that runs either on Embedded Real Time systems (Switches, converters, connectors) or on PC platforms (mainly windows, some Linux)
- Creating high-quality SW deliverables and related documentation.
- Working according to the state-of-the-art SW methodologies and the global solution SW architecture
- Creating the automated test-cases with Python to verify the quality of the SW.
Mandatory Skills:
- Have a good understanding of Networking technology, protocols and security.
- High-level of expertise in C/C++ (11/14) with Qt library
- Javascript - Angular/Ember
- Python
Bonus Skills:
- HTML5
- DirectX - Direcshow or DirectSound
- C#
