Description
Software Designer - Web Application Development with extensive Java skills wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Extensive experience and exceptional understanding of Java in a JEE environment coupled with confidence in a development IDE such as Eclipse
- Technical comprehension of the following technologies: ORM, Web Services, XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, Caching, Spring MVC, CXF, JPA, Hibernate, Oracle Database, Spring Batch, MQ, JIRA
- Mastery of a modelling language like UML, BPMN is mandatory
- Competent handling of web application development, Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Familiarity with Data Structures and Data Modeling enhanced by profound relational database and SQL skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing software components as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Testing units and integrating of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Supporting the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Guaranteeing that the produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
- Supervising versions of software artifacts
