Senior Java Developer
- Greenfield Project
- 12 month contract
- Upto €500/day
Java Developer/Senior Java Developer required for a HOT HOT HOT contract role with a global financial services company in central Dublin.
This is an exciting position on a new project to the business within a programme where they are scaling up heavily. Senior management have recently approved a prototype to be taken on by the business and scaled through the organisation. The organisation operates in every continent and they plan on scaling this application through the organisation (think multiple contract extensions).
The profile they require is that of a Senior Engineer who has indepth experience of end to end delivery of large scale JEE applications, ideally from scratch. This role will suit somebody who has stronger skills on the Back End and middle-tier and who can help drive innovation and fresh ideas for the project.
Desired Profile
- 5+ years Java development experience
- Strong experience across the Spring framework - Spring Boot, Spring Data etc.
- Experience working with modern CI/CD tools
- Cloud tech - AWS/MongoDB
- Hibernate/MyBatis etc.
- REST/SOAP
- Experience with TDD/BDD is nice to have
- Some exposure to Hadoop or Spark would be nice to have but not essential
- Front is built in Angular 4, exposure to this is nice to have but not essential
