My client are a growing , well-funded tech start-up with an experienced leadership team from world renowned organisations including the likes of NASA.
Having already shown significant growth this year my client are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to help drive forward the next phase of development for their product, and also act as a guiding hand for more junior members of the team.
The product has a huge applications in the travel industry and will have a huge impact on the way users experience (and explore) the world around them.
This is not your run of the mill Java role. From a Software Engineers point of view it represents a chance to work with a number of emerging technologies including:
- Scala
- IBM Bluemix
- Indoor positioning using Bluetooth & Wifi
You'll be working as part of an Agile/SCRUM team on a truly unique product with some of the brightest software engineers Bath has to offer. Experience of the above is not essential but you will need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of:
- Java Enterprise Edition
- JavaScript
- JavaScript Frameworks (ideally React)
- AWS or another cloud platform
