IS Specialist - Durham (Oracle 11g,SQL,PL/SQL,TSQL)

Salary between £32,548 - £38,832 pa depending on experience + excellent benefits package

One of Talent Internationals leading clients are looking for an experienced IS Specialist who will be responsible for providing both application development and support for administrative applications.

The role will involve working closely with a number of different stakeholders groups. As a member of the IS Group you will be responsible for the configuration, development, support and maintenance of applications.

Key responsibilities the successful IS Specialist will undertake include:
  • Proactively monitor Service Desk queues, liaise with colleagues to assist in call resolution within defined Service Level Agreement timescales.
  • They will act as the 3rd line support contact for users to provide support and resolve incidents and problems.
  • They will work closely with 1st line support teams and end customers to assist and advise in problem resolution.
  • Develop required functionality in software according to agreed quality standards, specifications and timescales.
  • Working within a team of developers or project teams, identify and prioritise business needs and ensure delivery of appropriate system solutions.


To be successful for the position of IS Specialist, you must show:
  • Significant experience developing, supporting and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics application and components.
  • Strong knowledge Oracle 11g and or SQL Server relational databases and database programming using PL/SQL or TSQL
  • Building CRM forms, screens, and views, as well as workflows and reports.
