Description

Scala Developer with strong Linux experience is required by a leading global organization in the South of England on an initial 3 Month contract.

Candidates will have an opportunity to work on an interesting greenfield project and lead a team of talented developers to deliver a project unique in its requirements.

Experience Required -

A minimum of 2 years building AWS based solutions.
At least 1 year of leading a successful software delivery team.
Experience with creating automated build pipelines.
Strong Linux and troubleshooting skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills -

Experience developing software in Scala or Java with a preference and willingness to re-skill to Scala.
Knowledge of Terraform.
Experience with CloudHSM.
S3, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda and Glacier.
Government experience and security clearance (SC level).

Play an integral part in helping the team continuously improve; sharing your own experience and insights, influencing others and mentoring those with less experience.
Interpret and analyse business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and development tasks.
