I have been asked to help recruit a MicroStrategy Developer to work within an ambitious and forward-thinking IT department on a long-term contract.
Skills:
*Extensive work experience on MicroStrategy 10x
*Datamodelling skills
*Architect (Design Schema based on the semantic design)
*Complex Reports/Dashboards creation using advanced filters and metrics
*Experience in quickly creating high quality Mockups for presentations
*Good Knowledge on Cubes creation/Cube size optimization
*Extensive experience in creation of templates and quick formatting of Gannt charts
*Performance Tuning of Dashboards, Reports and Cubes
*Mobile Dashboards Development
*Good Experience in Transaction Service reports
*Knowledge on XQuery and Webservice calls
*Functional & Technical Specification Documents + NFRs + SoW
*Knowledge of VLDB settings and Optimisation of Report/Cube SQL using VLDB settings
*MicroStrategy 9.4.1
*Datamodelling skills
*Excellent knowledge of SQL
Desired Knowledge:
*Report Estimation skills
*SDK Knowledge
*System Manager- Should be able to create complex work flows in System Manager
*Integrity Manager- Should be able to compare baselines
*Good Administration Skills- Good knowledge in Security Roles, permissions, Scheduling reports/Dashboards
*MicroStrategy 9x/10x certified as MCD would be added advantage
