Dear,For one of our clients in the public area we are currently looking for several DevOps / System Engineers for a 3 to 6 months project in Zurich.

Information about the project
We combine software development and system engineer's expertise to design, build and run distributed, highly secure and fault-tolerant e-health solutions for the Swiss healthcare market. Within our Agile-Scrum team you will play a key role in promoting communication and DevOps culture. As a DevOps engineer you will be primarily responsible for developing tools and automation for the optimisation of our processes, infrastructure and applications.
Requirements
- University degree
- At least 5 years of work experience as system engineer in automation and application delivery
- Proficiency with shell scripting and other interpreted languages (Python, Perl, Ruby)
- Experience with general purpose languages (C/C++, Java) is a plus
- Passion for configuration management (Ansible) and CD tooling (Nexus, Jenkins, GIT)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong experience in managing Linux systems, RedHat/CentOS preferred
- Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP
- Experience with SDN is a plus (Cisco ACI a big plus)
- Ability to create technical documentation
- Experience with scripting and ETL tools for data management and migration is a big plus
Responsibilities and tasks
- Lead efforts in automation, continuous deployment and global configuration management
- Contribute to plan efforts and strategies for high availability and redundancy of our distributed services with the goal to deliver a "zero-downtime" service to our customers
- Work on complex tasks in support of multiple projects
- Day-to-day management of the primary application environments
- Research and PoC new promising tools and technologies as well as new ways to solve problems more elegantly/efficiently
- Produce and maintain documentation on installations, incidents, and procedures in our Confluence spaces
- Actively participate in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices
