Our client in London is looking for a Opeation Engineering Tech (POD) consultant.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Development of systems for Regulatory functions with high scalability, high throughput, and large amounts of data
Handle project deliverables and tasks within a team of developers during development, user acceptance (UAT) and production implementation phases
Manage user requirements, testing cycles and perform change management duties
Develop highly scalable, resilient distributed systems using service oriented paradigms
Regulatory deliverables within a fast-changing environment
Basic Qualifications
4-8 years of Java development
2-3 years of service oriented architecture development
Strong database skills
Preferred
Messaging related technologies such as JMS
Experience with multi-tier service oriented platforms
Knowledge of Web UI technologies (including Angular/JQuery)
DB2 and Sybase IQ
Start: ASAP
Location - London
Duration - 3 months + extensions
Rate: Market
Candidates will require Investment Banking or Capital Markets experience. Multi-threading development experience in markets is essential.
