CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY:

Executive/VIP Technical Support Consultant - Initial 2-3 month contract - Milan, Italy Travel & expenses covered - Competitive daily rate (Dependent on experience)

Location: You will be based in our Head office in Milan, with occasional travel.

One of my leading clients, a global E-commerce organisation are seeking a professional, highly motivated and organised Executive Services Engineer to provide IT Support to CEO/CIO and Office of the CEO (OOTC). This will be a challenging role and requires someone able to marry an unimpeachable degree of technical capability with strong service-oriented interpersonal skills. It is essential that you are used to working with senior level executives and are capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

The successful candidate will be highly-responsive, and able to work on his/her own initiative, while demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all times. S/he will be calm under pressure and extremely reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Resolve all tech user issues CEO/CIO may experience with urgency and accuracy
- Pro-actively drive all efforts to ensure the OOTC tech infrastructure is efficient, effective, and up-to-date
- Provide responsive technical support of the full suite of Apple products (iPhone, Mac, Mail app, iPad, etc), OSX, Microsoft Office, Outlook email and work across all mobile platforms
- Ensure the OOTC media/presentation/video conferencing user experience is seamless: maintain fleet of equipment, pro-actively head off any potential issues, provide on-site technical support, attend and support off-site presentations as needed
- Work effectively with Help Desk, Corporate IT Teams, and 3rd Party Suppliers to: maximize service availability, ensure OOTC incidents and requests are handled with priority, and facilitate high-priority Executive project work-streams
- Effectively demonstrate ownership and management of requests in relation to any technological equipment and services that are relevant to the OOTC
- Communicate effectively with the OOTC on all relevant developments
- Prioritize workload and use initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Transfer digital files between different mediums and formats
- Train business users on operation of multi-media equipment
- Take a pro-active interest in technological development and keep up with latest industry developments, product releases and innovative new technologies with an eye on how they may facilitate improvements to either the OOTC working practices or to the service provided to them
- Remain available out of hours as needed by the OOTC and ensure adequate cover during absences

Skills and Experience:

- Impeccable Apple and Windows OS and application support
- Good understanding of Mobility & Enterprise Technologies (AirWatch & Casper)
- Experience engaging with executive level leaders in a multinational company preferable
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities, proactively plan ahead and problem- solve
- The ability to analyse, resolve and then document problems
- Discreet, professional and well-spoken
- Exceptionally organised and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative
- A calm demeanour and able to react positively during stressful times
