Knockout Developer
Whitehall Resources are looking for an experienced Knockout Developer for a 6 month contract in Norwich.
The identified candidate will be responsible for
- Building highly scalable & high performance web applications using Front End web applications
- Developing high quality code adhering to standards and guidelines
- Should be able to initiate projects like Proof of concepts/Pilots and implementations if required
- SOLID/KISS principles are followed
- Task Management & Documentation
Essential skills/experience
- 4-8 years. of experience in the Front End and Server Side technologies with up to date current and future technology trends
- Should have experience working on solutions using HTML5, CSS3
- Excellent working Knowledge in KnockOut JS
- Experience in frameworks like Angular JS, React JS, SASS, LESS will be an added advantage
- Primary Skills: Insurance P&C domain knowledge, Jquery, HTML 5, CSS
- Proficient with Server Side technologies using Java or .NET is an added advantage
- Familiar with JavaScript testing tools like Karma, Protractor, Mocha, Jest, CucumberJS, Jasmine, etc.
- Hands on knowledge of build tools like Maven/Gradle/Ivy and CI stack
- Should be adept in working in an Agile environment
- Evidenced working knowledge of accessibility and the ability to assess sites against it including working to standards such as WCAG 2
