Senior Developer - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
6 months initially (Work permit and Visa will be arranged by client on acceptance of contract)
Freelance contract opportunity to work in Saudi Arabia as a Senior Developer for a Research Centre that develops economic frameworks to reduce the overall costs and environmental impacts of energy supply, increase the value created from energy consumption and achieve effective alignment between energy policy objectives and outcomes.

High level Proficiency in Python/Java/Scala/JavaScript (AngularJS) - Experience with UI technologies (JQuery, ReactJS, Bootstrap)
- Strong Development experience REST/JSON/XML Web APIs
- Strong Experience in Big Data Technologies - Hadoop/Hive and Cassandra
- Hands-on configuration and development experience with Spark, PostgreSQL, MySQL Cluster
Exposure to Machine Learning solutions such as Tensorflow is preferred
Experience to Shell Scripting in Linux/UNIX environment. - Strong grasp of fundamental computer science concepts: design patterns, concurrency, OO design and UML
Experience and/or working knowledge of Middleware frameworks (such as Spring/Play + microservices) and web/cloud technologies (Amazon S3, EC2, Azure) - Experience automating builds with Maven using CI Servers like Jenkins
- Experience of working with code repositories: GIT/TFS
- Experience on Agile software development methodologies
BI tools experience is a plus
