Description
Data Engineer required for an End User in Amsterdam with the following responsibilities:
- Run, maintain, optimize ShinyServer (RConnect), DominoDataLab on Amazon AWS
- Develop & Support APIs from R (data storage architectures (SQL vs nonSQL), Json, XML, SOAP, Data-security)
- Strategy to build social platform community' on top of data platform (incl automated mailing of notifications from R to customer's hand-held with deep links to custom-prepared reports)
- Strategy what scheduled, preprocessed data to store for speed, reports, placeholder plots as images
- Strategy to maximally re-use of R code (between ad-hoc custom batch-scripts, Shiny apps, inside Spotfire etc) within and between the customer teams.
Skills required: R, R Shiny, TeamPlayer.
English speaking but Dutch would be an advantage.
