Location: Stoke

My client based in Stoke are Seeking a motivated, SQL Developer to join their team, that is growing from strength to strength. Part of the role will include; working with a number of other Business SQL and Database developers on existing and upcoming technical projects. Other key areas for this role will be to Develop, Maintain, support any new SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Queries, other functionality that is needed, as well as Providing day to day support to the wider IT Department regarding data, databases and security.
Not only is this a great opportunity to join an exciting and strong Business Intelligence team, that is considered as a key area for the business, they also have massive plans to grow this particular division. SQL Developer Role:
  • SQL Server 2008 R
  • MUST be Complex T-SQL - must be fully proficient
  • The ability to design and develop complex database solutions
  • Experience of dealing with very large databases and high transactional high availability environments
  • SQL Agent Jobs, SSIS Packages,
  • Must be proficient with DMV, DML, DDL Statements
  • Performance Tuning and Optimisation - both Server and Database level
  • Replication, Log Shipping, Availability Groups
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Experience with 3rd party Database tools
  • Backup / Restore strategy
