Ruby Developer/Golang Developer - 3-6 months - £ p/d
We are working with a digital business that have developed personal finance tool - helping people to manage their household bills, find better deals and ultimately save money. They're current gearing up for customer launch, but first they want to secure the services of a both a Ruby Developer and a Golang Developer to join their engineering team.
You will be joining a cross-functional team and be involved in a range of projects, from developing RESTful services, designing APIs and helping the business to transition from a Ruby Back End to a Golang microservices environment.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience as either a Ruby Developer or Golang Developer.
- Software Engineering mindset.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Extensive experience implementing RESTful services.
- Understanding of Docker and Docker-Compose.
- TDD/BDD approach.
- Git (Source Control) experience.
- Advocate of agile.
It will be hugely beneficial if you have experience or knowledge of other elements of the company's tech stack:
JavaScript, React, React Native, Appium, Postgres, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, Chrome extensions, Git, Hashicorp Vault, Postgres, Redis.
