Devops Specialist - Feltham - SC Clearance Eligible

Square One are looking for a Devops Specialist to come on board for a 3 month contract based in Feltham.

  • Maintains and supports the development infrastructure and environments
  • Creates and/or integrates systems, utilities and scripts to automate deployment and monitoring of builds and environments
  • Creates and/or integrates systems to present the build and deploy KPIs
  • Defines build, continuous integration and deployment standards and ensures adherence to them
  • Liaising with other technical areas, conducting technology research, and evaluating software required for maintaining the development environment.

    • Essential skills:

  • Exposure to the Software Development Life Cycle processes
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and platform components included but not limited to:
    • Linux Operating Systems and Shell Scripting
    • Windows operating System
    • Monitoring solutions ( Nagios etc.)
  • Experience with tooling across the SDLC
    • JIRA
    • Confluence,
    • Artifactory
  • Good Scripting knowledge (Shell Scripting, python etc)
  • Experience in building/supporting Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Knowledge of DevOps configuration management tools: Chef, Puppet, Docker
  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Terraform
  • Vagrant
  • Kubernetes
