UX Designer/Researcher - Austin

A tremendous opportunity for a UX Designer to join a Fortune 500 client! You will report to the Director of User Experience and be responsible for multiple internal enterprise applications. This team supports culture of learning and ensuring your voice is heard. You will interact with end users often doing heavy research and analysis. You will be tasked with finding what they want out of their application and what makes them tick. From there you will cut design and build out prototypes. We seek a candidate that has a strong passion for UX and has the ability to be creative while still working in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2+ years of Enterprise UX experience - working on company internal applications

  • Experience working in an agile product environment

  • Experience with user discovery/research - experience interacting with your direct customer or end user

  • Experience producing annotated wireframes and clickable prototypes

  • Experience employing a variety of user centered iterative design methodologies and objective evaluation techniques (eg design studio, contextual inquiry, rapid contextual design, user journey mapping, and requirements visualizations)

  • Experience with a Prototype tool - Axure or iRise or Balsamiq or Omnigraffle or Visio or Adobe CC or UX pin

  • Experience designing sketches, prototypes, user flow diagrams, and visual assets

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript - how they can be used for prototyping

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree
