Description
Working within the automotive industry, with offices in Southampton, London and Singapore, we are looking for a NodeJS contractor to play a central role, in developing and delivering Business Intelligence web based applications.
Working in the Southampton office, the project will last approximately 5 months, working alongside the development team using the SCRUM based approach.
Skills/Environment: NodeJS, Express (or similar framework), TDD, REST API's, MySQL
Desirable: Docker, Agile, Amazon AWS
Role Overview
*The Business Intelligence tool has an existing UI framework that is extensible.
*The role is to configure the application and work within the application and data tiers of the application.
*Create REST based service endpoints based on business requirements.
*Create unit tests for the service endpoints and internal functions.
*Work within a development build workflow encompassing Docker, AWS ECS, Ansible and Jenkins (prior knowledge is not required - training shall be provided).
*Collaborate with colleagues across various areas of the business
Contract rate: up to 500 per day
Duration: 5 months
