Ruby Developer/London/6 months Contract/400 to 525 GBP (Per Day)

I am currently recruiting for a Developer for a 6 month contract in the Cabinet Office
This role is outside of IR35 and will pay up to £525 depending on experience based on a Ltd Company
The team will create automated tools to give departments the data insights they need to audit, overhaul and categorise their content by 2020 as committed in the Government Transformation Strategy and in order to rapidly respond to Brexit.
The team will extract data within a performance framework to provide actionable intelligence to publishers so that they can manage their content. This involves removing or downgrading redundant content, improving the high value, high trafficked content that is poorly performing, and being confident in creating good quality content from the off.
Specialist Skills that you will need:
- experience in Front End and Back End development
- commercial experience of Ruby and Rails, CSS, Javascript and HTML
- understanding of software design principles
- ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques
- a systematic approach to solving problems
- experience of using testing to validate solutions
- experience of agile environments and version control
- basic understanding about web security
- an awareness of technologies used for web applications, eg databases and search
- experience with Unix-like operating systems, eg Linux, macOS
