Objective of the function
Our client is merging 2 different IT platforms. In this context, Siebel has been selected for the customer, contract and service management application for the merged' company. In order to align the processes of both companies, some new functionalities need to be supported in the Siebel application.
The Siebel application is currently being managed by a team of experienced Siebel developers and analysts. However, this team is insufficiently staffed to meet the scope and timings of the it merger -project. We are looking for reinforcement with an additional Siebel Senior developer.
Responsibilities
This request looks for an experienced Siebel consultant. His/her main responsibility will consist of taking ownership of new Siebel functionalities that need to be developed in the customer service management -area. This consultant might also be assigned to the migration project where he/she will need to provide technical assistance in loading 300K new customers in the Siebel application. This consultant will be reporting to the Front Office Applications Manager.

- 4+ years experience of Siebel 8
- Siebel configuration
- Siebel Workflow
- Task Based UI
- EAI
- Experience with Siebel Open UI is a big plus.
- Knowledge of design patterns, development standards and project methodologies.
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a team in a customer-focused environment
- Results oriented and self-motivated with the ability to follow through on tasks/responsibilities with a relatively low degree of supervision
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to remain focus whilst working under pressure
- Good knowledge English (knowledge of Dutch & French is a plus)
- Preferably Master in IT. (or equivalent by experience)
