Description
Monarch are working with a global consultancy based in Brussels that are recruiting for a Java Developer to assist them on an initial 4 month contract, paying a day rate Euros per day.If successful you will be working on a new data management platform/automation programme, where you will be integrating a variety of application and data sources with the new cloud services. Daily tasks will include detailed design work, data model mapping, software development, testing and documentation.
They are looking for an individual who has:
- Hands-on Java development using frameworks, in particular Spring and Hibernate.
- Familiar with data models, schemas, datatypes, attributes and data mapping.
- Understanding of one-way hashing and Personally Identifiable Information.
- Knowledge of REST with JSON, and SOAP with XML interfaces.
- Familiarity with FTP/SFTP and file processing.
- Design patterns for asynchronous events, queuing, and producer/consumer.
- Integration via API management platforms such as WSO2.
- Very good verbal communication and documentation writing skills.
- General SQL knowledge.
Initially it will be a 4 month contract however with the programmes of work underway it will more than likely be extended. If you have the skills above, can work in Brussels and are available to start a new contract in January then I look forward to receiving your application.
