I am working with a large Financial Investment Company who are currently seeking a DevOps expert to help them create an automation and DevOps environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor who is seeking autonomy over their work and be part of a large scale project.
Qualifications & Experience
- IT Qualification (Third Level)
- 5+ years relevant DevOps experience
- Strong Linux Background
- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Git, Puppet/Chef, Docker, Vagrant & Kubernates
- Strong AWS background
Skills You Will Need:
- Proven senior level experience as a senior Build/Operations or DevOps Engineer focusing on bridging the gap between developers and operations for large complex clients.
- Expert in the usage of automation tools such as Puppet and Chef.
- Understanding of fundamental infrastructure/operational principles and have some experience in development.
- Extensive experience installing and configuring virtualisation, cloud, network, storage, backup, DR, database and security technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in risk and issue management utilising a standard project management and reporting framework.
