Description
Splunk Developer
The job holder will:
- Create and maintain advanced dashboard on Real Time Monitoring platform
- Develop interfaces with third party solutions for data on boarding and for operational processes (Incident, automation, remediation, etc.)
- Ensure high-reliability and high-availability of the features delivered (best in class for the development, logs for monitoring, automatic remediation and user experience
- Working in small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development (UI builder, admin, architect and product owner)
Experience & Competences
- Strong experience with SPLUNK platform development (any certification appreciated)
- Strong experience in web application development
- Proven track record working in Agile
- Mastering of at least one platform SPLUNK or Elastic Search
- Great knowledge on Logstash, Redis, syslog server, Splunk SDK, SPLUNK ITSI, SPLUNK Builder, API ServiceNow, MINT
- Great knowledge development in JavaScript (bootstrap, react), python, Java, ruby, boomerang, js)
- Knowledge on Tuleap, Jira, Git/Github, Jenkins, Selenium, Ansible Tower, Chef, Puppet
- Advanced Level of English
- Advanced level of French would be appreciated
Measures of success and outputs
The role will be measured by the following business measures:
- Dashboard or features availability and performance
- KPI on demand management (speed to deliver)
- KPI on reusable features (standards)
- End user feedback and advocacy
The role will have the following key outputs:
- Standards and best practices to develop on the platform
- Business advocacy measures
- A comprehensive and world class dev ops capability including ways of working, tools and centre of excellence, tests
