SC Cleared Linux Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer
A very prestigious and large organisation with an enviable global client base are looking for a number of Linux SAs to help design, test, create and support components on the AWS platform.
NB: You must have current and valid SC clearance to be considered for this role.
The role will involve the following:
Infrastructure provisioning
Application setup and configuration using IaC and Puppet
Working with Agile methods
Documentation
Working with both development and production environments
Supporting application development teams
Using Devops and automation tools
Integrating Linux with Windows AD and implementing security policies such as AV and Fingerprints, etc
Building CI/CD build Servers (eg Jenkins)
Implementing CI and CD
You will need the following to be considered for this role:
Strong Linux build experience
Linux Shell Scripting and admin
Good knowledge of virtualisation
Good networking skills including IP subnetting and Firewall rule administration
Strong skills on at least 4 of the following:
Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Artifactory, Elk, Nagios
Some development skills in Python, Ruby etc would be useful
Familiarity with open source work management tools eg JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins etc
Strong understanding of test driven environments and test concepts
