Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Senior Front End developer for a 11 month contract in Brussels.

Your New role:-
For the clients Digital Production Center (DPC) we are looking for a full stack AEM Front End Scrum developer.
The DPC is the place where digital products and formats take shape. In close collaboration with the various TV brands ( and radio brands) we develop new products: from complete websites and mobile apps to smaller campaigns and applications. In addition, DPC also manages the existing products.
Within the product team we work daily on the development of our news platform built on Adobe Experience Manager. Together with the team you are responsible for building new features as well as solving bugs.

Job description:
o Develop and implement high-quality JavaScript web applications
o Thinking along with design and architecture.
o Maintenance, testing and improvement of existing web applications and JavaScript code.
o From User Story to JavaScript based Web solutions.
o Acting as a problem solver in some cases.
o Take care of the software documentation
o Conducting consultations in a cross-functional team with other web developers, testers, sysadmins, ...
o We work in Devops Scrum teams: daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, planning, coaching, pairing.
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
o A Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent through experience.
o Cross-functional Scrum DevOps T-profile.
o Senior experience with ECMAScript 6, HTML 5, CCS3.
o Thorough knowledge of Javascript libraries: react.js, JQuery.
o Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
o Experience with Node.js is a plus.
o Experience with version management and build systems.
o Experience with TDD and pairing
o Thorough knowledge of UI design and UX.
o Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
o Expertise in responsive design.
o Knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Sketch.
o Knowledge of prototyping.
o Experience with troubleshooting cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues.
o Standardization as principle, pragmatism as working method.
o Communication skills.
o You have knowledge of Lean product development.
o Experience within the media sector is a big plus.
o You are result-oriented and user value driven.
