SharePoint Developer - Luxembourg

Languages: ENGLISH and FRENCH (bilingual)

Skills and Experience:

  • Specific expertise in all versions (especially 2013) of the Microsoft SharePoint solutions: over 7 years of consecutive experience, Microsoft Office SharePoint MCP preferred (Configuration, Application Development).
  • Excellent knowledge of .NET technologies (9+ years).
  • Excellent knowledge of component-based and service oriented applications development.
  • Experience with managing software solutions' life cycles and software quality management.
  • Understanding of network topologies and security principles.
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint's Search solutions.
  • Solution-driven approach with a proactive attitude to emerging technical issues.
  • English and French (spoken) and good technical writing skills.
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English and French spoken), good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.

Description of work:

  • Development, implementation, maintenance, supporting tools, documentation and technical support of infrastructure software solutions within the CP environment.
  • Development and maintenance of advanced user interface components and supporting tools within the CP environment.
  • Provide technical support to the CP development and maintenance teams on SharePoint 2013, which the CP architecture is based on.
  • Provide technical support to facilitate and enhance the integration of the CP solution in the current IT Infrastructure of the Commission.
  • Provide technical support to facilitate the upgrade of the CP solution to the next platform version (SharePoint 2016).
  • Provide technical assistance to organise efficiently the acceptance and deployment phases of the successive CP releases.
  • Assist the CP team in planning, executing and tracking the solutions' life cycles (Build Management).
  • Assist the CP team in analysing functional requirements and translating them into solution designs.
