Contract - long term.
The KEY/CORE of this role is constructing and maintaining a Production Process Pipes.
Working on flows and calculations. Building and maintaining Logical and reliable environment in Production environment.
KEY TECH SKILLS are;
Python and Python reporting libraries.
Open Source so Unix and Linux Admin.
Pandas are also important as is NOSQL. Hadoop and Spark may come up later in the year.
A creative mind is key, someone who can build own environment.
The business is commercial - industrial sales - real world context.
You need to find the right algorithm; client is open to technology but PYTHON in production environment is key.
Good code, logical, efficient.
This is a LONG Term contract based in Luxembourg - initially 6 -12 months. Remote working is not liked - but maybe an option from time to time once trust is built after 2-3-4 months.
Please note; you need to work via an umbrella company to pay tax and social security in country.
We need this done from day one. Tax and social security is circa 34%, the umbrella company pay you direct into your bank every month and the take care of all administrative work - insurance and so on. Simple, easy, legal and a must-do for EU contracts. You have nothing to do but the work you are contracted to do and send a timesheet at the end of the month.
They charge 500 euros per month for their service but it's a simple one-stop-shop.
