Frontend Developer
A Frontend Developer is required for a long-term, lucrative contract assignment with a major financial services client based in Amsterdam.
The Frontend Developer will have skills and experience including:
* AngularJS 1.5 proficiency and proven project experience, experience in Polymer 1/2 is preferred
* Experience in Java/Back End development is a huge advantage
* Full understanding and experience of the AngularJS digest cycle, dependency injection, other MVC/Angular concepts
* Has worked with, or at least knows the concepts behind other modern Front End JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, d3, Aurelia or similar
* Proven software development experience within enterprise environments is preferred
* Solid English communication skills, verbal as well as written, Dutch speakers are preferred
* Willingness to grow onto a leading role in the team and a mindset that resembles a lead developer.
* Creative minds that think like product-developers and challenge our business colleagues in requested requirements have an advantage
* Ability to communicate with colleagues in the team to clarify technical complexities
The Frontend Developer will be responsible for activities including:
* Develop fast, secure JavaScript/HTML components for our applications in AngularJS/Polymer 2.0
* Continuous integration/delivery
* Collaborate closely with other squad members and business representatives with clear and open communication.
* Understand and be able to engage in decisions concerning the full technical stack of the application (understanding the mechanics of the Java API and Cassandra database).
* Write clear and concise documentation about the Front End application.
