Description
Fraud Detection expert/Data ScientistIn the role of data scientist within the fraud detection domain, the candidate will propose hypotheses, and design experiments to obtain suitable data to validate these. They will explore and visualize the data, and communicate the knowledge to the team/business. They create models that use existing and future data to create business value.
Experience in the fraud detection domain
Scientific method/tools
Masters or Doctorate degree in a quantitative field (eg, mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering, etc.) required. Ability to manage and analyse large datasets using standard data science toolsets in R or Python Good understanding and extensive experience of exploratory, supervised and unsupervised machine learning models Experience with relational and non-relational databases, knowledge of SQL and Apache Spark Experience with H2O.ai, KNIME, SparkML is a plusData exploration and visualization
Creates and trains models to capture the knowledge learned and to transform it into product features. These models have good accuracy/recall/prediction values outside of the training set.
Has 2+ years of experience of using supervised and unsupervised machine learning models on real world problems.
The created models are implementable in the target product, and fit for purpose. The candidate
implements and integrates the model into the target product, or works closely with the team that does.
