One of my clients based in Stockholm is currently looking for Microsoft BI Backend Developers to join them ASAP for an initial contract until mid August 2018.
Description of assignment:
The BI solution manages production data and includes large amounts of data with daily loads of millions of transactions daily with storage and presentation of billions of transactions.
The solution consists of the following components:
ETL - SQL Server Integration Services
DB - SQL Server and SQL Server Analytics Platform, APS (MPP)
Cubes - SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular
Reference data - SQL Server Master Data Services (MDS)
SSRS reports
Business Objects reports
The assignment includes:
Expand ETL processes to load more data to DW
Create integrations to production systems using component development and Web Services consumption to load data to DW.
Expand existing DW/DB solution with more information
Expand reference data in MDS to manage more information.
Optimize existing solution for better performance
Use SQL Server 2016 and 2017 and APS
The assignment is performed in a team with agile development methodology according to SCRUM. The project will work on short frequent deliveries, where the end result is a solution with higher data quality and richer information model, as well as improved performance in both data loads and data recovery.
Skills needed:
Senior experience within Microsoft SQL Server BI
Senior experience from Database Development
Senior experience from ETL Development
Senior experience of Data Warehouse project
Experience from System Development
Experience building SSRS reports
Fluent in English
