Description
Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking to add a PHP Developer to their team. In this role you will initially be working on code maintenance but will transition into new development within the first couple of months. You will join a team that already has 2 developers.
There will always be code maintenance, but the company is rolling out a new version of their system along with new features within the next 2 months. You will be working in an Agile environment with 2 week Sprints. The first Sprint you work on will be 100% code maintenance; the second Sprint will be 80% maintenance and 20% new development, and the third Sprint will be 90% new development and 10% maintenance.
The client currently has 3 applications/systems that you will be supporting. The applications are written in CakePHP, but they will consider experience with other frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter or Symfony). Also looking for experience with Angular, jQuery, Git and RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres or Oracle).
