Your tasks:
- Administration and maintenance of ECAD design system Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise
- Test, package definition and introduction of new software releases together with IT department
- Customisation and automation of ECAD tool chain using scripting languages, e.g. VBScript, JScript, Perl etc.
- Definition of needed software licenses
- Support of schematic, layout and component library engineers
- Global cooperation with all hardware development departments as ECAD expert
Your qualifications
- Profound experience in hardware development
- Deep knowledge of ECAD systems, preferred of Mentor Graphics Xpedition Enterprise
- Deep knowledge of schematics and layout design
- Experience in component library administration
- Knowledge of scripting languages, especially VBScript, JScript, Perl etc.
- Fluency in Business English
- German language skills are beneficial
