Description
This project developer will be able to successfully work within the guidelines of delivering software solutions from analysis, development and testing function. Practical knowledge and experience with agile practices within the waterfall or agile SDLC.
This individual should have knowledge of multiple applications including distributed systems and SOA. The individual should possess strong problem solving and decision making skills. He or she should be able to work in an environment that welcomes change, delivering value driven functionality in an iterative and continuous manner. Knowledge in business and technical analysis, design documentation, code standards and guidelines, and system testing skills are required. Strong facilitation and project lead skills are needed.
- Produces deliverables agile practices and principles, depending on the assigned project.
- For agile projects, develops and delivers software solutions in small value driven iterations; participates and occasionally facilitates daily meetings with project team.
- Analyzes requirements, researches alternative solutions, and makes decisions on the recommended solution.
- Documents the technical design, translating the logical flow of business processes into programmable solutions.
- Implements solutions using established tools and standards.
- Performs testing of code and documents test results.
- Presents completed work at design and code reviews.
- Provides release and post production support for all projects.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues, working independently
- Ability to size work efforts
- Proactively and regularly communicates status reports and issues to management.
- Remains current on technology and tool trends through self study.
