PHP Developer
Location: Duluth Georgia 30097
Contract: 6 months
Rate: $50/hr - $55/hr
What they are really looking for:
The ideal candidate will be strong on the Back End but have some knowledge of Front End technologies (Angular 1.5). The person who is leaving is responsible for deploying code and has good infrastructure and networking experience (any experience with that will be helpful). The person also needs to have solid SQL skills and basic knowledge of deploying to AWS (EC2, Route 53, S3 and RDS).
This person will be working onsite at client's office in Duluth.
Job Description:
Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking to add a Lead PHP Developer to their team. You will be joining a team that already has 3 developers but is in need of somebody in a leadership/senior-level role. This is a hands-on position and you will be expected to develop code.

What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or other technical discipline from an accredited college or university and 5+ years related experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
Have utilized Agile in prior software engineering experiences, is well-versed in Agile principles and routines (TFS or Jira)
Proficiency with web-based toolkits - AngularJS (1.5), JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS are required
Recent development experience with PHP 5+
Experience in consuming and producing data with RESTful services
Experience with configuration and code management utilities - SASS, WebPack
Experience with deploying applications to Linux environments - Apache preferred
Continuous Integration and Deployment tools and process experience (eg Jenkins)
Would be great if you had:
CakePHP
Cloud based deployments (AWS)
An understanding of using Docker/Ansible for local development
Ruby language skills
Linux/Bash Scripting
Experience with PCI-compliance and payments processing
