Description
We are looking for a CPE UI developer/architect.
The team you'll be working in is responsible for customer facing video related UI's on different devices and applications. While working on development yourself, you will also be the link between the product team/requirements and the developers. You will spend approximately 50% on Javascript development and 50% on UI architecture.
Hard skills & Experience:
- Experience with different programming languages: HTML4/5, (Vanilla) Javascript (optional C/C++)
- Experience with UI development in the cable, satellite or telco industry
- Experienced in UI animation and graphic programming technologies (eg DFB, OpenGL, WebGL, EFL)
- Experience with version control software (eg Git, Gerrit)
- Experience with working in an international and distributed team environment
- Comfortable working in an agile scrum environment, issue tracking Atlassian Jira, Wiki
- Understanding of content protection (DRM), streaming protocols, network capabilities, web security
- Familiar with Set top Box platforms covering (eg DVB, streaming video, CAS, DRM, )
- Familiar with STB Middleware technology; RDK, CI+, Hbbtv, IPTV, Video Back Office systems and TV-Apps.
- Familiar with Audio and Video coding/decoding technologies
- Familiar with Linux, Nginx, Node.js
Their preference goes out to someone who is willing to stay for at least 1 year. The location of the project is Amsterdam.
