  • They will then:

  • Coordinate deployment of the site for end user testing
  • Coordinate security testing and vulnerability scanning
  • Manage the cutover from the old to the new site, including version control (GitHub) and the roll-out of processes and guidance to the Web Development team
  • Ensure that appropriate scanning, monitoring and logging tools are up and running for the newly migrated site on a scheduled basis
  • Maintain clear documentation for the above in Confluence
  • Throughout, the Web Administrator will be the primary technical point of contact for the company's web sites, primarily liaising between the Web Development team and IT team.

  • 2+ years' experience of website administration, including user privilege management.
  • MySQL DBA skills.
  • Well versed in web application security and hardening techniques, particularly relating to the LAMP stack.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to share knowledge.
  • Organised, conscientious and attentive to detail.
  • Highly desirable

  • AWS Certified and experience with Rackspace/Rackspace Cloud.
  • Able to advise on, and make recommendations for, relevant tools and processes.
  • Experience of managing website migration projects.
  • Skilled in Laravel and Wordpress development, with working knowledge of other frameworks (such as vue.js, Kirby, Expression Engine, Textpattern.)
