Gloucester - Walham Substation
Pontoon has an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Utility companies inthe UK based at the Walham Substation in Gloucester.
What will you be doing?
Your first project will be at Walham 400kV Substation is installing a 400kV circuit breaker and its associated primary plant. You will be tasked with installation of CTs, VTs, circuit breakers and their associated structures, clamps and connectors and busbars as part of the CB install. After Walham completion, there will likely be further opportunities such as Iron Acton CB installation
What skills and experience will you need to apply?
- Have experience of working within the HV environment
- Read & understand technical drawings
- Completed work must be to a very high standard
- Full driving license preferable (to work from different sites)
- The hours of work are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5 pm but occasional weekend working will be required
